Meet Parker, a 12-year-old Pomeranian mix who proves “senior” definitely doesn’t mean slowing down. He’s this week’s Wave Waggin’ Wednesday pet available for adoption at Dogwood Animal Shelter and has proudly served as the Shelter Mascot since January, greeting visitors at the front door and making sure everyone pays the required “toll” of ear scratches. Parker is a total fetch fanatic and will happily keep you on your toes with his playful energy and signature “hurry up” bark. Don’t let the frosted muzzle fool you — this boy still has the spirit of a pup half his age. He loves walks, sunshine, and sniffing every blade of grass along the way, so stop by the shelter and meet him in person!
