Meet Spooky and Poppy, this week’s Wave Waggin’ Wednesday pets available for adoption at Dogwood Animal Shelter. Spooky is an approximately 4 1/2 year old Lab/Pointer mix who was found as a stray in Macks Creek. He thrives on affection, loves going for walks and exploring. He’s currrently in the Puppies for Parole program at JC Correctional Center and will be returning for adoption at the end of August. – – – Poppy is a 4-year-old domestic shorthair. She’s a gentle soul with an affectionate side who does best in a quiet environment, maybe even as a barn cat where she could explore and still enjoy a loving family. Come meet Spooky and Poppy!
