Meet Augie and Boo! They’re this week’s Wave Waggin’ Wednesday pets available for adoption at Dogwood Animal Shelter. Augie is an energetic and happy-go-lucky pit mix and just 2 years old. He would do best in a home with lots of activities to help channel his energy. Fetch, frisbee, swimming or just cuddling at home, he’s up for all of it. Other dogs in the house are fine as long as they can keep up with him! By the way, he’s also a graduate of Puppies for Parole!
Boo is a beautiful 5-year-old Siberian Husky mix who found himself at the shelter after his owner passed away. He was adopted but returned shortly after when he began guarding his toys and food. Since then he has graduated from Puppies for Parole and is well-socialized but could use someone who can reinforce what he’s learned.
