Vita and Twix are this week’s Wave Waggin’ Wednesday pets available for adoption at Dogwood Animal Shelter. Vita is an almost 10 year old German Shepherd who spent her entire life with one family but ended up at the shelter when her people moved somewhere that doesn’t allow pets. She loves going for walks and was known to be protective of her previous owner and children. However because she tends to be a bit standoffish with new people, she should probably only be around older kids. Some of Vita’s skills include sit, stay, come, shake and roll over. ⚫️ Twix is an 8-month-old Domestic Shorthair who was part of a litter brought into the shelter. She enjoys climbing on the cat towers and chasing the other cats at the shelter. She’s also always up for a cuddle! Stop by and meet Vita and Twix in person!
