Meet Buddy and Marty, this week’s Wave Waggin’ Wednesday pets available for adoption at Dogwood Animal Shelter.
Buddy is a handsome 5-year-old pit mix who was surrendered to the shelter by his previous owner and has been there for three years. He is not compatible with cats. His favorite game is tug-of-war. He also enjoys taking walks and runs. He’s brimming with energy and would thrive in a home that matches his vigor.
Marty is long-haired grey and white tabby, about 7 years old with a wonderful, charismatic personality. He doesn’t like other cats or dogs and would have to be the only cat in your home anyway as he has an incurable viral infection called FIV. It is highly contagious to other felines but not to humans. Other than that, he can live a normal life.
