What Versailles school officials thought was a case of meningitis was not.
Turns out it was actually a form of encephalitis. A letter had gone out especially warning parents of middle school football players, those who chose not to get vaccinations and anyone who had strep of possible exposure to the diseases. Officials are calling the case an ‘isolated’ incident.
