If you’re heading east on the Missouri River Bridge next week, leave a few minutes early or be prepared to take a detour.
MODOT crews will be working on both eastbound lanes of the bridge from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday. The work will put LED bulbs in the bridge’s street lights.
Meanwhile, expect some Columbia road work on and near the Interstate.
MODOT plans on shutting down a stretch of I-70 Drive Southwest on Monday. The portion getting shut down is between Silvey Lane and Hutchins Drive, near the 124-mile marker of I-70. That work is only expected to last from 9 am to 3 pm Monday.
MODOT’s also going to close one lane each way overnight on I-70 between the 127 and 129 mile markers. That work will last Monday through Wednesday.
