One dead, one arrested after Miller County wreck

One person is dead and three more are seriously injured after a crash in Miller County.

The Highway Patrol says 50-year-old Donald Talbott of Marshall was driving on Highway 54 near Route W south of Eldon when he turned into the path of another car at about 7:45 p.m. Saturday.

The two people in that car, Bobby and Donna Albertson of Eldon, were taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Talbott was also taken to a hospital for serious injuries. He’s now facing felony charges for DWI involving a death.

Talbott’s passenger, 46-year-old Grace Helbenberger of Marshall, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
