One person dies, another is fighting for her life, after a Jefferson City motorcycle crash.
Police say Shawn Cochran lost control of his Harley on a curve of Clark Avenue near Lincoln University at about 11:33 p.m. Thursday. Cochran and Morrigan Carpenter of Columbia were ejected as the motorcycle hit a curb, utility pole, street sign, and embankment. The 38-year-old Cochran was found dead in the street.
Carpenter, 31, is in a Columbia hospital in critical condition at last check.
