Search Continues for Camdenton Man

It appears a 51-year old Camdenton man drowned while fishing off a private dock at the 13.5 Mile Marker of the Big Niangua Arm of Lake of the Ozarks  Sunday morning. The Highway Patrol says divers continue to search for Joe Bartholomew who is presumed drowned.

Divers Recover Body on North Shore

Witnesses called authorities around 1:00 Wednesday afternoon concerning a possible drowning on the North Shore of Lake of the Ozarks. Diver’s with the Lake Ozark Fire Protection District recovered the body about 30 minutes later. It appears the victim had been swimming.

A 42-year old St. Louis man was injured Saturday when the personal water craft he was on collided with another at the 2 mile marker on the Grand Glaize Arm at Lake of the Ozarks. The Water Patrol says Reed Alfonzo was taken to Lake Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
