Water Outage in Jefferson City

A pipe break this morning at the water plant that supplies most of Jefferson City results in the dismissal of most schools in town. The pipe helps draw water from the Missouri River into the Missouri American Water Plant. No word on how long  the outage will last.

Armed Robbery at Budget Inn

Jefferson City Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Budget Inn on Jefferson Street. The 23 year old victim who is from Memphis, Tennessee  tells police the suspects displayed a gun and took money from him. He says the suspects were a white man and woman. No arrests have been made at this time.
