Honor the memory of 9/11 and to celebrate our area 1st responders & the Military by taking a 150 mile ride to the Truman Dam and back on the Lake of the Ozarks.On Sunday, September 10th, the 2017 Boat and PWC Ride for Freedom will depart from Surdyke’s Port 20 at 9 am. There will be multiple stops for Food and Fuel on the way up and back. The ride will end up at Dog Days Bar and Grill at 6:00 for a dinner and awards ceremony. There will be a poker run with great prizes and even a collectible Fireman’s edition Henry Rifle will be drawn for from the ride participants. Free waverunnner usage or ridealongs will be given to all area 1st responders and military. This is a free, community-wide event, but charitable donations for related charities will be accepted.
